What makes you different, makes you beautiful. Winnie Harlow proves that ‘beauty is not just skin deep’
Diagnosed at the age of 4, Chantelle Brown-Young aka Winnie Harlow had a tough time growing up, getting beaten and bullied with insults like “milky” and “zebra.”
She was turn down from Canadian modeling agencies because of her skin condition.
Until she became famous when she was a contestant on America’s Next Top Model in 2014.
She is carving out a great future for herself, proving that—if we accept ourselves for who we are, others will react in a positive way and accept us too.
She has inspired countless artists…
And have graced the covers of major international fashion magazines…like Elle, Canada,
… Glamour, U.K.
and Marie Claire, Latin America.
She is also the spokesperson for vitiligo.
However, she didn’t stop her struggle…
Since then she has melted the hearts of millions…
She has made a great impact on the world, promoting a positive attitude about herself with not just one cover for L’Officiel…

She’s just your ordinary girl, with extraordinary attitude and confidence.
One of the most important days of my life. Like I said on the show, this little girl reminds me of the me I wish I was back when I was bullied, beat up, an dropped out of school. I've always been told I have an old soul, which I developed young, but what I wish I developed even sooner was confidence and a sense of Pride in myself. That is what the children of the next generation need to be taught, Confidence, Pride, Kindness, and Acceptance ❤️?? thank you April Star @redefinedmybeauty for loving yourself!!! And thank you @therealdaytime for making Aprils dream of meeting me come true!
She is truly a model of inspiration and confidence and have made such a positive impact on the world.
Her confidence is what makes her the most beautiful… and of course that perfect smile.
